What to Expect: The Intake Process
When we receive referrals, our clinical intake coordinator screens prospective patients in a brief phone call to determine if the person is an adult with a history of TBI — the baseline for eligibility in the program.
Eligible Veterans are sent electronic intake documents and medical records releases.
After the intake coordinator reviews these documents, the clinical decision team, including the Medical Director, Associate Director of Clinical Operations, Director of Veterans Relations and Intake Coordinator, will review the candidate’s referral and decide whether they are a good fit for the Center for Brain Health’s three-day diagnostic evaluation.
